Stage One
We started by researching fashion logos. Many global house marks have stood the test of time through their use of simple and unique type treatments. One of the two founders worked in the fashion industry in NYC prior to opening Faced and we agreed exploring luxury fashion brands was the right place to begin.
The aim was to be recognizable within the beauty category, starting with a sleek and sophisticated mark with a memorable modification.
The palette is a mix of muted blue and green with additional timeless neutrals; colors that add balance, calm and comfort. These colors were chosen to compliment a base palette of black and white and provide background color and warmth in brand photography.
Faced brought on a creative director and photographer to capture the brand in imagery that could be used for both digital and print.
Stage Two
We continued to work with Faced to coordinate production collateral for their opening day.
Collateral included postcards, business cards, retail shopping bags, tissue paper and a tri-fold brochure.
The Linear Faced mark easily works as an exterior sign, fabricated and installed by Pinnacle Signage.
Stage Three
We frequently work with the Faced team to apply the brand assets to new locations. This includes collateral, environmental, and digital design.
